planning...

Ok!! Well I had not paid attention to it because obviously I have been very wrapped up in school... but yeah it crept up on me that I now have about EIGHT WEEKS (give or take a few days) till MY WEDDING!
Today, I have been absolutely stressed out in my mind about this wedding... I do not even know where to begin, what to start with, or who to call.
I do have my dress and I do have my bridesmaid dresses ordered, but that's it... I know i know!! EIGHT WEEKS!!!!!!!

If anyone has any suggestions, pointers, hints, tip, yada-yada!! LET ME KNOW... pretty please :)

Thank You So Much :)!!

Get your invites ordered ASAP if you haven't already cause your supposed to send them out 6 weeks prior!! :) AND Napkins if you're gonna have them special ordered with monogramming cause it takes a few weeks to get them in so get on it!! Umm... food/caterer/etc. Silverware, Plastic Wear/plates/cakes/cake plates/cups/ETC.. Be deciding on that stuff because if you have to order any of it then it could take a while!! :) Anything else your stressing about holler at me...I'm planning too! :)

i recommend someone to be in charge of the wedding party..telling everyone what to do and when to do it at rehearsal..some one you feel comfortable telling how you want things done and that will do it exactly that way..you wont have time to do it yourself..have candy or bubbles(ex.in the flower basket!!) for the kids in the wedding if they are small children..kids will not do what you want them to do..i had all seven kids in my wedding!!! practice how you are running the ceremony..something will go wrong..be prepared..

first thing first, try to remain calm.It is so easy to forget things when you are all stressed out! I would get my invitations done first since you do need to have them out soon! Since you have your dress and bridemaids out of the way I would start focusing on decorations and the reception. programs for the wedding, bubbles, anything extra you may need to start on. These is what took up most of my time. From experience majority of your planning is planning the reception. Figure out how many tables you will need. You will need table cloths and centerpieces if you choose to have any. On the day of my wedding, my stepdad had to make a trip to the boro just to get more table cloths because we didnt have enough! Music picked out for reception. Cake ordered and the food you want. If you dont have time to hire a caterer or you cant find one available my sister in law had walmart prepare the food for her recepetion. It was absolutely delicious you have so much to choose from. I would reccommend bridget powers as a caterer. SHe makes the most delicious cakes and she can provide finger foods and all the punch you need for the reception as well. She was my caterer. She also, as a wedding gift, she will also make your baby shower( in the future lol) cake for free! She is great, I have her number if you need it! At my wedding I just had finger foods because its less of a mess to clean up and plus the guest are there for you not just to have a full course meal;) I got these plates that looked just like china dishes but they really was plastic.Hobby lobby all the way!THey was Just as elegant and you can just throw them away afterward! I got all my napkins and personlized decors and stuff at www.seasonsbydawn.com this website has everything!! and may give you some ideas to do on your own! if you need any help with anything I do not care at all to help you!!good luck!

You can do it! I planned our wedding in 3 months. In the end, you will be glad that you didn't have more time to stress about it.
