BaBy aLySsA

Once again, I do not know why my pictures always turn sideways but they do. This is for a special teacher from some her students. Kayla Cagle ordered this for her nursing teacher who is about to expect a baby girl. She told me the colors, and when I sent the picture to her- she said it would look great at their home because they live on a farm.
Thank You Kayla for asking me to make this, and I hope she liked it!

catch up...

My friend, Shea, was in the Autumn Street Fair last weekend and wanted something to display her name on. So I decided I would do her a sign [if I got to keep keagan :) j/k].
I wanted to do something unique since it was the Autumn Street Fair but nothing to busy. I think it turned out cute and with all the colors, Is my favorite!!
Shea, Congrats on getting your business started and thank you for including me on your project. and THANK YOU for my birthday present.

I do not know why this one is sideways, but Sorry! Haley Bouldin asked me to paint her mother a sign for her school room. She said she did not want school colors and did not want stripes, so that is what I had to work with. I picked this blue because I think you could use it year round because it some what reminds me of a snowman blue and then summer blue.

Happy Birthday Regina. Thank you Haley!

"The Wedding"

Kristin Blackburn asked me to do some paintings for her wedding this coming Saturday. I posted a blog before with the white ones... and now I am posting the blog with the colored ones.

Lucas and her have quotes the go by or say to each other. So she wanted them simply painted on a canvas. Her colors of her wedding are the fall colors. But they are doing their house in browns and oranges too, so I thought I would stick to that. That way maybe she can use them around the house after the wedding.
Congratulations Kristin. I know your wedding will be beautiful. I wish you many years of love and happiness!!
Thank you again!
p.s.sorry about the shadows.

A Reminder :)

My cousin, Courtney, will be having a baby soon. So I thought I would drop her off a reminder of how much I love her.
My mother found my sewing machine at her house, and brought it to me. Well I was "planning" on going to bed early, but I had to use the sewing machine. So I had some fabric left over and got to work. I was surprised it worked, haha. I thought I would get ahead start and make her some burp cloths. Maybe it will help her name her baby considering the baby is due in OCTOBER!! and she doesn't have a name!!

The Moore's

Julia Moore asked me to paint her a "fall" paintings. We finally decided on something she liked. I tried something new, and I like it. I don't know about anyone else, but I do. I tried an "antiquey" look, if that is a word. She wanted golds, browns, and an orange! I think it turned out neat. Thank you Julia!!

in the process,,,,

Kirby and I have planned this for a while, we have just been waiting on the house to get close to finished as possible. Little Connor's room is going to have one cool room when we get finished! Above is the finished fire... I tried to make it as real looking as possible. These flames are huge compared to the picture.

These two pictures are not finished yet, they should be done soon. Above is the fire hydrant right by the door when you walk in, I just have to add the details. The one below is the chalked out version of how the fire truck is going to turn out. We raised it above the floor a little bit because Kirby is going to put Connor's bed on this wall. [I know you can't see this picture too well, but it will be finished soon :)]

Thank you so much Kirby for asking me to do this. I can not wait to see what the finish product is going to look like..
