Is it really almost Christmas???

It seems like it was just Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and NOW Christmas!!! Time flies so fast these days. I have been so busy this week trying to catch up with finals and paintings. So I thought I would just post one post on all my new projects!
Happy Holidays Everyone :)...

Sweet Lacy Stoner bought this for her sister ,Casi!

Julia sent me a picture of her friends new baby room, and wanted me to create something to go along with that. So I got to work and I think this turned out cute. I just love this "gigi" font, once again Thanks Susan :) and thank you Julia..

an update,,

.. on "setting the table" :)

Kristina and I have debated on what to put on this sign, and after looking at some stationary she had bought, she decided to go with it. She wrote what she wanted and told me this was the design she wanted. So the sun, and the children [gathering from all over the world :)] all belong to the stationary [i will post that after side 2]...

well I have finished SIDE ONE!! finally.... hopefully side two won't take me too much longer since school will be on and finals will be over :)

again, thank you Kristina.... and stay tuned :)

from tara.

"Don't worry about anything. Worrying only causes you to lose perspective. "Worrying, like a rocking chair, will give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere." Trust God and his plan for you. Don't waste time trying to figure it all out on your own. If you want a situation to have the best outcome then take it to God. Talk to him, share your burdens with him, and let him direct your paths. Once you do that, everything will come together how it should and the best part of all is, you will end up happy and satisfied. It's a guarantee. that's how God works. All you need to do, is work with him.

Give him your burdens, give him your time, and he will give you everything that you need "

--This came from my friend's Taras blog, I read it and it was perfect for everything going on in my life. It touched me so much, so I thought I would share it... Thank You Tara- You are so inspiring!!

at llasstt....

I posted a post a while back on doing Kirby's sons wall. Well I am finally finished and I thought I would post up to date pictures. Kirby and I have to decide on a final touch then we will be all done. But mostly we are finished. I think it turned out cuter than I thought. Thank you Kirby so much for asking me, I hope Connor likes it :).

The fire hydrant also got the final touches put to it. This picture makes it look deformed but I have no clue way, so ignore that fact. Thanks :)

Kirby I am sure you know what I did to this picture, and his room :). It will be our little secret, j/k I love you!

blog love

I know you are probly askin, If she paints why is she getting someone to paint something for her? Well Monica and I have a little agreement, and since she is an awesome painter I wanted something I knew I would love!! I gave her a picture and almost felt bad about me because I thought it would be too difficult then when she sent me a picture it was better than I could EVER imagine! This girl ROCKS!!
So thank you Monica for my painting, now it is your turn :).

"The Girl's"

Lacy Stoner asked me to make her a painting for her little girl's room at their house. It is a HOT pink room, but she wanted to add a little color to the sign so they could keep it even if they changed their room color. I added 3 big dots to add the girls' names in them! Thank You Lacy!! I hope they liked it!

Once again, I do not know why my pictures always turn sideways but they do. This is for a special teacher from some her students. Kayla Cagle ordered this for her nursing teacher who is about to expect a baby girl. She told me the colors, and when I sent the picture to her- she said it would look great at their home because they live on a farm.
Thank You Kayla for asking me to make this, and I hope she liked it!

catch up...

My friend, Shea, was in the Autumn Street Fair last weekend and wanted something to display her name on. So I decided I would do her a sign [if I got to keep keagan :) j/k].
I wanted to do something unique since it was the Autumn Street Fair but nothing to busy. I think it turned out cute and with all the colors, Is my favorite!!
Shea, Congrats on getting your business started and thank you for including me on your project. and THANK YOU for my birthday present.

I do not know why this one is sideways, but Sorry! Haley Bouldin asked me to paint her mother a sign for her school room. She said she did not want school colors and did not want stripes, so that is what I had to work with. I picked this blue because I think you could use it year round because it some what reminds me of a snowman blue and then summer blue.

Happy Birthday Regina. Thank you Haley!

"The Wedding"

Kristin Blackburn asked me to do some paintings for her wedding this coming Saturday. I posted a blog before with the white ones... and now I am posting the blog with the colored ones.

Lucas and her have quotes the go by or say to each other. So she wanted them simply painted on a canvas. Her colors of her wedding are the fall colors. But they are doing their house in browns and oranges too, so I thought I would stick to that. That way maybe she can use them around the house after the wedding.
Congratulations Kristin. I know your wedding will be beautiful. I wish you many years of love and happiness!!
Thank you again!
p.s.sorry about the shadows.

A Reminder :)

My cousin, Courtney, will be having a baby soon. So I thought I would drop her off a reminder of how much I love her.
My mother found my sewing machine at her house, and brought it to me. Well I was "planning" on going to bed early, but I had to use the sewing machine. So I had some fabric left over and got to work. I was surprised it worked, haha. I thought I would get ahead start and make her some burp cloths. Maybe it will help her name her baby considering the baby is due in OCTOBER!! and she doesn't have a name!!

The Moore's

Julia Moore asked me to paint her a "fall" paintings. We finally decided on something she liked. I tried something new, and I like it. I don't know about anyone else, but I do. I tried an "antiquey" look, if that is a word. She wanted golds, browns, and an orange! I think it turned out neat. Thank you Julia!!

in the process,,,,

Kirby and I have planned this for a while, we have just been waiting on the house to get close to finished as possible. Little Connor's room is going to have one cool room when we get finished! Above is the finished fire... I tried to make it as real looking as possible. These flames are huge compared to the picture.

These two pictures are not finished yet, they should be done soon. Above is the fire hydrant right by the door when you walk in, I just have to add the details. The one below is the chalked out version of how the fire truck is going to turn out. We raised it above the floor a little bit because Kirby is going to put Connor's bed on this wall. [I know you can't see this picture too well, but it will be finished soon :)]

Thank you so much Kirby for asking me to do this. I can not wait to see what the finish product is going to look like..

Part I....

Kristin Blackburn asked me a while back to make her some decorations for her wedding coming up. She wanted to meet me that way we could get everything correct, and Boy is this girl prepared. She had a binder of everything in order and print outs of everything she wanted, of the idea.

I loved how these turn out and this is my absolute favorite font... She wanted them on wood. That way it looked a little country. The last one her son is going to be holding, and i loved the lowercase look. Kristin I hope you like these...

we are back...

..from vacation. It was a much needed trip and we had so much fun! Despite all the "weather precautions", the weather was really nice and maybe rained on us for 10 minutes. But other than that it was good... it was a little cloudy but hey I will deal with that :). We went to eat with Lacey's "bee-bee" and that was fun. If you go to Panama, I would suggest eating at Saltwater Resturant! It was so good.
We went to the beach Saturday and Sunday, and packed most the day Monday. But we went to eat at Pineapple Willy's and sat on the peir-- the tides were wild. Glad we didn't get in that day. But it was still pretty to look at.
Now I am back to school, work, school, and did I mention work? I am going to try and get some paintings up real soon. Sorry for everyone for the delay! Just trying to get adjusted to the school schedule and work at the same time. Thank you for all the comments while I was on vacation :).
*hope everyone has a great week!!

Dots& Art

Natalie Miller started teaching again this year after going to school for her master's degree in Speech (You go Girl!). She has not got to enjoy her summer like most of us... she was traveling to Nashville several times a week and studying for finals all summer. She got her room settled in at Centertown School and asked me to come help decorate. She decided she wanted a sign for her door, and with Centertown colors black and red, what else would you want :). I tried to do her sign alittle different from past polka dot signs! I think it is so cute for Nat!
I did this wall several months ago for Nat's play room and FINALLY got around to finishing the other side. Natalie and I have planned this project 50 times and something has always came up... but on our rainy day yesterday I decided to head over there and finish up. I chose some different fonts but Natalie chose this one. I think this font is so cute and my favorite. I love the huge pictures she has done for the children, and they are all around the walls and two in her bedroom! If your needing decorating ideas, hint hint it's super cute!!!
Thank You Natalie! I enjoyed Aiden and Anslee giving me pointers the whole time :).

dots and dots...

These two cutes little paintings are for some friends of Kristina Walling. I immediately asked whose the girls painting was going too, considering my sister's name is Kayla Lanae :).
She asked for dots on both Kayla's and Ethan's... I decided to do something different with Kayla's and I think it turned out cute. I used a cute little font on Ethan's because I did not want it too girly and I think it looks just right for a boy! I guess you can let me know what you think... Thank you Kristina.

Paige...

Paige Todd ordered this painting, along with her Christmas Order (I wish I was that prepared :). She wanted hers to be like "The Barnes'" on my last blog... she said it was simple. I love simple. Paige I hope you like it... and I can not wait to do your other ones :).

my "little" babies...

My aunt messaged me today, and we talked on the phone and I thought of stuff I haven't got to think of. Every since Kali Alexis was born she has been my mini-me. If no one loved me... I know Kali would :). She is my pride and joy. Then came little Alex, but there is no hope for me there... the only woman in his life is his MOTHER :).
Kali started fifth grade last week-- FIFTH GRADE!! This is my little girl! Alex starts Kindergarten process tomorrow, and I can done tell Kim is going to have a hard time with this. haha... But here are some pictures I wanted to share...
*and if you asked her who she looked like.. she would say ME!! :) and i love it...
